Application for Sponsorship
Takeda Canada provides sponsorship support for bona-fide
scientific, medical, health care-related or other activities, where
Takeda may control, influence or participate in the design or
conduct of the initiative or acquire a tangible benefit.
Important points to remember
This funding program does not support the
following:
- Businesses or other for-profit organizations
- Private foundations
- All payments made to an individual or to an entity that is
controlled in fact by an individual Stakeholder or its family
member, legal representative or agent
- Religious or faith-based organizations
- Travel for individuals or groups
- Capital funding requests (building or equipment)
- Debt reduction campaigns
To begin, please ensure you have the following
information ready:
- Letter of request or prospectus describing your initiative.
Include date, venue and location.
- Learning objectives, if applicable
- A draft agenda for events
- A detailed budget breakdown
- Information regarding your funding approach (what other
sources of funding you are pursuing?)
Once your application has been submitted, you will receive an
acknowledgement email which includes an ID # for your request. It
is important to note that you may be asked to provide additional
information if so required.
If you wish to know the status of your submission, please email
us with your ID # in the subject title and send to
canada.sponsorships@takeda.com.
Please note that review and approval times can vary and are
dependent on the nature of the request. If your event is scheduled
to take place in less than sixty (60) days, it is possible that
Takeda may not have sufficient time to review your submission. When
possible, an update on the status of your submission will be
provided within sixty (60) days of receipt.
